It's really nice information about the software which are helpful to learn web designing initially.I think Dreamweaver,Photoshop and Illustrator are best software in initial stage of the designing.

Definitely you should go for photoshop first. It helps to change the backgrounds, improve pictures quality and improve the colors. Moreover you also need to learn the GIMP and the adobe illustrator
